Sadly, patients will continue to experience breast-related problems despite the Covid-19 pandemic. We are very aware of the distress and suffering this may cause. Ms de Sousa will therefore continue to provide:

• Telephone/video virtual consultation (to avoid the risks associated with face to face contact) – this will include both initial, and follow up consultations.

• The vast majority of health insurers are in support of this approach (please check with your company before booking an appointment).

Understandably, routine investigation and surgery is currently restricted to emergency or urgent cancer cases only, in a combined effort to release medical staff and facilities for the fight against coronavirus.
